WST AHAUS has been the pioneer in waterjet cutting technology in Germany since 1996

WST AHAUS has been working with high-pressure waterjet cutting technology since 1996. Since then, our team has gathered more than 325,000 operating hours of experience; from using the right cutting peripherals through to the precise adjustment of cutting parameters.

Through consistent research into better and also more cost-effective wear parts and, above all, through the use of in-house developed cutting peripherals, WST has been able to reduce the cost of wear parts considerably.

At present, the share of wear part costs is now only 82 % of the original costs of 1996. Adjusted for the price increases of the past decades, this share in real terms is now only 36 %. We pass on this advantage to our customers through low production costs.

WST is authorised to re-stamp by RWTÜV Anlagentechnik for materials and products for installations subject to monitoring in accordance with § 2 (2a) GSG // A.-Nr. 240339 01.

WST has a quality management system that is comparable to the standards of DIN ISO 9001:2000 and is continuously adapted to the current requirements of our customers.

Expansion of the service portfolio in 2008 and 2017

In 2008 we considerably expanded our service portfolio with CNC laser cutting and forming sheet metal processing, mechanical machining by CNC milling, drilling and turning. Through investments in state-of-the-art laser cutting systems, CNC press brakes, CNC machining centres, CNC turning machines as well as fully automatic band saw machines and radial column drilling machines, we now offer our customers a comprehensive range in metal processing. Finally, assembly production was also introduced through MIG/MAG and TIG welding. In 2017, the production site was relocated due to steady growth. WST has now tripled its production areas on Kruppstraße in Ahaus and added further processing technologies. CNC tube processing as well as CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting further round off our programme.
